The price gouging is real! Looking at the date on the shipping label, it looks they shipped last month. I'm going to call a few dealerships tomorrow and see if they're finally back in stock.

Hopefully you have more luck calling dealerships than I did, usually they love getting part numbers confused after I tell them the specific part number for these.

My Discount Tire somehow misplaced one while they scratched up my wheels and could only find a replacement on ebay

They all have fitment and quality issues oem or not. Someone said to pull the retainer spring while installing them.

If my wheels are coming off at a shop, I pull mine and leave them home. I always tell the service writers and they seem to appreciate it! One less thing to fk with.

Yeah, What is it with these guys?

I call-in an order providing the exact part number... he confirms.
Part will be in in a day or two.

When the part arrives, he calls me. I go.
He hands me something else I did not want. Completely different part number...
    :bananadead:

I ask about it to his face and the guy tells me that he thought that this is what I wanted...
BUT I GAVE YOU A PART NUMBER, I point out...
    :smack:

He then asks for the part mumber again... I make sure he enters it and the right. The item pops up without issue...

    - and I have to return in a day or two...

Plug the part number into an Amazon search. Rhino Tuning sells replicas without any red TRD badging - set of 4 less than $60.

They've been doing great for me for the past year.

Supposedly the backordered parts are starting to come in.

I managed to order a set and a few spares through Olathe Toyota before they went out of stock again.

Update for anyone looking for these parts. I originally placed my order in April 2023, and just received them this week - 18 months. When I spoke with the dealer I ordered from, he indicated that they are just now catching up on the back order and parts are moving.

One caveat / PSA based on my experience: At some point over the last year, the dealership changed their sales/ordering system. When I called, they couldn't even see my order because it had been purged during the transition. If you've been waiting on these for a long time, I recommend you give your dealership a call. If I hadn't, I never would have gotten the parts.
