I wasn’t sure how the gunmetal gray would look on the magnetic gray but it actually looks pretty damn good I’ll wait and see what it looks like in the daytime

How have they been? Any weird vibrations or issues? I’m wary because my last set of aftermarket rims sucked, probably because they weren’t hub centric though.

They have been great so far. Probably only have 800-900 miles on them, but they are behaving as wheels should.

Thanks for sharing guys! Really impressed with how the dark gray and magnetic gray combo turned out on both a 2nd and 3rd gen :bananadance:

If anyone is on the fence about getting these, go ahead and jump in. You want be disappointed. Besides a great looking rim, they also have outstanding customer service.
I had a small problem, talked to @Johnny77, he and his team took care of me that same afternoon. No questions or red flags on their end, I got a no problem answer from them and they took care of everything!

You can google it and there are some nice videos. Basically the aluminum ingot goes on a lathe and as it spins a hardened tool “spreads” it open. Kind of like a potter making a clay vase.

a low pressure cast wheel, molten metal is pushed under pressure from a low point until it fills a mold and bubbles out the top.

they aren't going to make 16'' y'all. Those of us that like actual good ride quality and better offroad traction that we get from having sidewalls and higher volume aren't the customer this company aims for... they look for those that want to pay less for a good look (I'm not blaming them!) the 17" + tends to get that market. Making repro rims in the same size as the original gets them closer to cease and desist territory. Nothing else they make is 16" see: https://www.factorystylewheels.com/

I'd buy a set of bronze 16's the second they came out. Hell, I'd pay half upfront to pre-order if I had a reasonable lead time! but I don't think this is going to happen and they wont just sack up and say it.

Interesting <nods head / scratches chin> very interesting.

I was kinda hoping for a 16” version myself, but hadn’t commited yet to buying them if they did come out.
