+1 for flow forged. My preference would also be around 4" bs for 17x8.

offering 9" widths would be pretty cool as well (16x9 and 17x9)

Plenty of manufacturers offer in these sizes already. Going wider only adds to the weight and I think for most going lighter is the goal to compensate for adding heavier AT tires.

Thanks for throwing your 2 cents in, but the comment was mainly for the OP who is actually manufacturing the wheels.

Either way, please point me in the direction where plenty of manufacturers are offering 9in width wheels in OEM styling.

Offering these would open up a completely new segment for people who want to run wider tires and keep a factory styled wheel.

Say I buy a set and trash one by hitting a curb and it's not covered under warranty.
Will I be able to buy just 1 wheel to replace the broken one? I can't seem to find where they are sold individually.

Nevermind, I see that the FAQ's on the website state they are only sold in sets. Why would anyone buy wheels that only come in sets of 4?

No!!! Those don't have an aggressive enough offset/wide enough. Generally speaking, people want flush fitments, so I'd say a 17x8 with a 0 or even -10 would be the sweet spot. That TRD Pro Sema wheel, while its one of the best all time wheel designs, needs a -10 to -15 offset in its current 7" width.

No. You're in the minority who like that 17x7 +4 fitment or even those that don't want dead flush fitments. There's nothing wrong with that, but there's a reason that pretty much every aftermarket wheel manufacturer for the Tacoma produces, on average, a 17x8.5" 0 or -10 wheel.

I agree with the sentiment that the "replicas" should provide something different vs the stock option. That way theres more variety in the market and can better accomodate different tastes.

What does +4, 0, or -10 mean? And how does that affect the wheel, performance, tire rub, etc?

Its offset. The more negative the number, the more the wheel will push out towards the fenders.

I would be glad to offer up my truck as a test subject if you want to send me a set in matte bronze. I'll even pay to have my tires swapped over for your troubles. :fingerscrossed:

I asked the same question and never got a response. I would assume since we can't get a response, the answer is, you can only buy in sets of 4. Definitely a no go in my book.

I'd be interested to see how many folks like 9" width. Depending on the offset it would likely rub on stock suspension.

Appreciate the suggestion. We might start offering sponsorships in the near future. Need to work out all the details first though.

Sorry for being MIA fellas. I've been pretty slammed with work. We do normally sell wheels as sets of 4 but since most truck/suv owners have a full-size spare we're planning on producing them in sets of 5's which would allow us to sell individual wheels depending on inventory.
