I just upgrade the taco to new rims/wheels and had an aftermarket TPMS sensor installed. I tried to follow the relearn procedures but does not work.

    - When the engine is on and running, the TPMS sensor icon blinks for about a minute then stays on
    - The sensor reads "--" on all 4 tires

I tried to hold down the TPMS button underneath the steering column after it stops blinking but nothing happens. Thoughts?

New sensors have to be programmed to the truck first through the OBDII port and a Programming TPMS Tool.

You need to know the code number for each sensor. Then it has to be programmed in. Tire shops can do it for a small fee.
