    Hello,
    20230407_194758.jpg
I'm new to this forum and just recently purchased a 2020 trd sport 4x4. It has 285 65 18 Toyo tires and what looks like a spacer lift in the front. I was wondering how do I know what size the spacer is and what can I do to to improve the ride quality. It seems like i can feel every little bump in the road. Should I do away with the spacer and get a true suspension lift? Any feedback is appreciated!

Love the look of your truck! What wheels are those? I have a 22 sport, and it rides pretty stiff with the stock shocks. I would imagine a spacer lift would amplify that stiffness a bit.
Can you get in to measure the thickness of the spacer? If not, you could probably measure the height of a stock sport, then figure out the difference in tire height between your tire/wheel and the oem tire/wheel and then have a rough estimate of your spacer lift height.

They are Fuel Rebel 18x9. Does the height of the spacer tell how much lift there is? Thanks

Take a close up picture of the top strut mount. A 2” lift spacer is barely visible while a 3” lift spacer is quite visible.

Spacer isnt causing your stiff, rough ride, it is the Sport Shock valving itself (I have a Sport too). your spacer is above the spring, and adds no preload to the spring so, it cant change your ride quality, in it's current form. maybe look for a more compliant shock valving package like what is on the Off Road, or Pro units. Billstein has options for you. Ski

Looks like a 1.5 spacer, so 3" of lift.

Would Bilstein 5100 put me at the same height? I'm wanting to keep the same ride height with a smoother highway ride. Here is also a picture of the rear.

I ran this exact spacer setup on C Load tires and the ride wasn’t terrible. On the road it rode like stock while washboards were a little shaky but not uncomfortable. You could try upgrading to the stock Bilstein shocks that are equipped on the Off Road model, those are valved to ride softer on rough terrain.

Bilstein 2" 5100 up front would be soooooo much better and would lose the OEM brake dive. Bigger, better shock, period. Not a chunk of steel, they call a spacer...

My 20 Sport has a 3" spacer in the front and 1.5" add-a-leaf.

could tire pressure be a culprit here?

Why is mine not squatting without any lift in rear? Sorry so many questions, this is all new to me.

That's a 1" block you have on rear axle.

I switched from a spacer lift on my 18 Sport DCSB to 5100/887 F and 5100 R with HS AAL. The Sport OEM suspension is stiff and the spacers just made it stiffer. Much nicer ride with the 5100s!

@Bmw2Taco will that give me enough lift for the 285's?
