For the 98.2% of us in CA that don't require a 4x4 but good to have a locker for when it rains. :p

I’m assuming you are being sarcastic, as was I. But please explain the “Locker = Rain Mode” idea. I live in one of the rainiest climates in North America, but haven’t come across this info until now.

I live in the desert. What happens when dirt and sand get wet?

e-locker, bigger rear end and CC. I actually use these from time to time, but yes, I did take out the stock suspension because it handled like a boat.

I wish you could pick and chose what you wanted from a build.

Hey guys! Just became a member of the forum, thank you for accepting me here.
Looking for advice, it seems like the to go option for most of the guys here is the PRO, I agree, I do work in the oilfields and I just started using my taco for work, but im worried i might mess it up bad, i drive on lease roads/dirt roads with a lot of potholes washboards and rocks, i drive @ around 15 to 20 mph,but no sure if it will hold up,. This might seem dumbfounded but this is my first taco and i really like it TIA

The Pro suspension will be better than the Sport all around - except maybe at autocross. - Maybe. The Sport makes you feel all the bumps - it is simply the stiffest suspension available.

I'd get the Pro if you want the available tech packages anyway.

For your stated usage, I'd prefer the models in this order:

1.- PRO - Great on and off road. (Especially if $ is no object). They are not easy to find available without a silly markup. - start your search for an off-road asap because that might be what you find available.

2.- OFFROAD - It will get you there without fusing your vertebrae. - You'll need to find a hood to swap for hood scoop... (if you want one.)
    .
    .
    .
    .
18.- Sport - Just Too stiff for truck use. But better than all the other non Taco alternatives... (You can swap the suspension to make it acceptable.)
