2021 Tacoma Limited 28k miles. Just shy of 3 years the A/C compressor and clutch died. And the drive belt is worn. And Apple CarPlay stopped working. Still fighting to get parts in for A/C and going on 4 months.

anyone else have issues? I’m debating making a move if this is a telling sign of what’s to come

^A/C compressor failure is somewhat common in the 2020+ trucks. Had two go in my off-road club. Drive belt was probably collateral damage. Replacement belt is cheap. No comment on Carplay.

I wish used 3rd gen prices would drop so I can pick one up for cheap in a few years. Feel free to unload yours at a low price :D

'21 Tacoma TRD OR w/ 48K miles. Bought it used with 3K on it. Only issue I have had thus far is with my bluetooth microphone. Went out on me about a year ago, tried trouble shooting and narrowed the problem to the microphone. Ordered an OEM replacement and everything worked perfectly until a few weeks ago. Figured it was the same problem so ordered another microphone but it still wouldn't work. Took it to the dealer and they tried replacing the DCM module, with no success. They finally got a hold of Toyota, continued trouble shooting and they settled on the head unit being the problem. Waiting on the replacement to come in. We shall see. Glad I went with the extended warranty.

Under warranty? How are you “fighting to get parts in”?

I bought the extended warranty so luckily it’s covered. Fighting meaning trying to get dates. Toyota corporate tells me end of Sept (which would be 4+ months waiting) and dealership tells me end of Aug.
