I could feel some resistance when pressing the brake pedal like something is there,Once you get passed that point feels normal. Has anyone else felt this only has 200 miles on it.

    Welcome to TW!

The Off-Road's use a different type of brake Master Cylinder then you're probably used to, so it's got a different feel, especially when the engine is off. Nothing to be concerned about.

If you came from a car to a Toyota truck the braking is way different but you get used to it. As said above it’s a different set up.

Welcome to the forum. Drive it for awhile and it will feel “normal”, just takes a little get use to. When you try crawl control that’s when you will think all hell is breaking loose!

Mine has a slight resistance right at the top of the travel. It feels sort of like it's binding a little. I'm not sure if it's normal or not.

The OR Brakes are different. Not different bad, they're designed for off road, which is great. Especially when compared to other manufacturers that slap a sticker and M&S tires on their trucks and call it Off Road. For those here who often ask what the difference is in models, it's not just looks, all of the models have their intended use and drive differently.
