Is anyone else running into the same thing? I have a 2021 SR sport, and a new iPhone 12 Pro. I have over 1200 songs on my phone. While driving I can only access the most recently played and recently downloaded songs or artists for about the past five months. Other than that I can’t access older artists or songs.

i’ve been doing some research and I’m finding that some car manufacturers truncate your list so you aren’t constantly scrolling through while driving as a safety feature. Is this true for tacos?

Personally, this is a terrible feature, and I find myself on my phone looking for songs. Siri can be a complete idiot when looking for songs. I want to be able to look through my playlist at any time to see if there’s something I want to hear. I am also told that you get the full playlist only when parked.

Is there any type of a workaround on this “safety” feature?

I had a similar issue it had to do with the iTunes. I went back on the computer and made sure that all the songs were downloaded and available. Solved the problem. You might try that. I have heard that Apple and Toyota don't get along so maybe there's something to that as well.
