Too bad the Borla doesnt come in a "high clearance" option and would need mods from a muffler shop so it wouldnt get ripped off while wheeling.

Well depends how irresponsible/responsible you are haha. It has eco/city/sport/sport+ options. I've left mine on sport for the past few days and been getting ~17mpg. But I also abuse it sometimes and take it on backroads for fun. I went on a small 150 mile road trip the other day and left it in Eco for about the whole trip and got up to 26mpg.

Yeah, that looks like a great option! I like the sound of most of the options with that overland. I originally wanted to swap the muffler with a BlackWidow WidowMaker but decided I didn't want to cut and weld. Also didn't want to risk any leaks from bad welds.

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
I have the TRD exhaust now about 3 years and it gets deeper sounding as it ages, best sounding one in my opinion. My Son's 2018 has a FlowMaster 50 series welded in and it sounds awesome. Nice little rumble, little deeper than the TRD and no drone. I was shocked at how it sounded. I have heard a few different ones in person as a friend in NC. has had a few like the MBRP( sounds like shit) the Flow Master Outlaw I think thats what its called sounded nice too and the Magnaflow was ok sounding (droned). I did ride in his with the Borla exhaust prior to me getting the TRD, now that one was nice and not much different from the TRD, maybe a tad deeper but at highway speed I would say its the same. He has a 2016 and went through some exhaust systems but I wanted OEM parts. I like the Borla but to me its a very similar exhaust tone. I do give it to Borla as it may be deeper sounding. The one thing I like about the TRD was at WOT its not overly loud, no drone as well.

I wouldn't go any louder than the TRD. And even that in my opinion doesn't sound good; it just doesn't sound bad. Also this was how the exhaust looked after 1 winter. Not to happy about that...

A loud 4 or 6 cylinder sounds like a Cessna taxiing.
