    Oh look, another mod....
This is what warranties are for. Take it back to the dealership where you bought it and make them fix it.

I just happened to notice that last week on my 21. I happened to see 2 dry streaks coming down the windshield behind the mirror. Wiped them off. I'm waiting to see if this shows up again before I go in for regular service. If it does will make an earlier appointment.

I’ve noticed a small, dried up streak coming from the corner of the plastic cover that’s behind the rear view mirror. It ran down about 6 inches from the corner of that cover. I’m convinced it was from condensation though. I’ve checked it after several hard rains and a few washes but have never found it wet.

Exactly what I saw, didn't notice them before the last snow. I didn't use the vehicle after the last storm for a number of days and left the snow on there. Might have been condensation since the windshield and roof were snow covered for a number of days.

Probably condensation forming between plastic camera cover and glass.

I’ve had more trouble with condensation on the Tacoma than any other vehicle I’ve owned. I was afraid I had an interior leak somewhere but I’ve seen many other complaints about it on here. I found that if I leave the control set to defrost overnight, I get a ton of condensation when the conditions are right. I feel like if there was a leak, I’d have found it by now or my interior would at least smell aweful by now.

May I ask why you set the control to defrost overnight. Don't understand how that would cause condensation if truck is off. Explain.

I did it as a test, from a suggestion here, to see if it was the cause of my interior windshield condensation. My understanding is that there is a vent to the outside that allows outside air in which can cause the condensation. I can tell you for sure that I get terrible condensation when I leave it set to defrost overnight. I also always leave the recirculate button off. I tried this for a while I’d got no condensation. The very first time I forgot and left the defrost on, I had terrible condensation the next morning. To the point that it was there were literally lines where beads of water had run down the inside of the windshield. Keep in mind this is in the humid SC lowcountry with cooler temps at night and 70’s during the daytime.

While not impossible if the windshield is the factory installed windshield it is very unlikely it is leaking. Windshields are glued in and actually add rigidity to the cab because they are glued in so secure.

Also if you can not duplicate the leak with a garden hose how do you expect the dealership to duplicate the supposed leak?

Ever owned a VW? I’d say my tacos don’t hold a candle by comparison.
