Adidas Ultraboosts 95.99% of the time. Columbia hiking boots when it snows/freezes (which has been a total of maybe 12 days since ive owned the truck).

However if there is a market for that kind of thing then I guess an only fans could feed my car/truck addiction.

My original factory drivers side floormat also wore through at the heel, I don't recall exact date, but probably within first 12 - 18 months / 25K miles. Someday I'll get good mats, but for now I am using AutoZone cheapies.

It took like two years for me to wear a hole in the driver's side mat with my left heel. Ordered a set of Husky Weatherbeater mats and haven't looked back. They're superior to the Toyota mats. Ever since the "unintended acceleration" scandal, Toyota has made their mats virtually impossible to snag the gas pedal, even if they become loose. The Husky mats have better coverage. One year with them and no signs of wear.

Wore off a couple layers of my Weathertech on a 600-mile trip to and from another state. Was wearing a standard work type boot with vibram sole and the heel did the damage. Didn't go through the whole mat but did mess up the first couple layers pretty good. I was a bit surprised, but the mat still does its job. I have had Weathertech and Husky, no issues with either. Good products!

I cannot fathom a truck with carpet mats. Unless you are only operating it wearing the very finest Italian leather driving shoes, or perhaps moccasins, and both you and the truck never, ever leave pavement. And even then…one coffee spill and it’s over.

This. Love my Husky's. Has a beefy extra pad for the drivers footrest. Took a while to get used to but great now.

Carpet anything does not belong in a truck. I miss my old Sierra with a full vinyl floor. What I would do for that in the Taco!

    You could make that happen.

Pull out the carpet, spray in a bed liner product on the floor. Done.
