This weekend's race sucked for the fans but you can't control the weather and despite all the conspiracy theories out there it does look like the cars were sent out behind the safety car in a genuine effort to clear the standing water ahead of an expected decrease in rain intensity but the visibility was too low for the mid pack so after a couple laps they Red Flagged the race . F1 rules can and probably will be reviewed after this but current rules state that if the formation lap to the grid is behind the safety car , any additional laps count toward race distance and after 2 laps , 1/2 points awarded.

Hamilton just got on the wrong side of one of these weird rulings for once and if he thinks the fans should get some money back at the expense of the race promoter he could probably write a cheque to cover it

 

Reports have Russell to Mercedes , Bottas to Alfa Romeo to partner Nyck De Vries , Kimi retires , Giovinazzi becomes Ferrari reserve driver and Albon takes Russel's seat at Williams

anyone here watching season 2 of Fernando? I finished episode 3... season 2 is really great so far. it's like a slower and steadier inside look into the F1 world without the Netflix hype and spin.

season 1 is good but different, it's not much about F1, more about Fernando and his other stuff. season 2 is all F1 and also has better production. really good!
