We watched Germany 2019 last night and there was some awesome racing between Kimi and Seb. The Mrs is also anti Hamilton so she enjoyed that race :)

She became a solid fan of Kimi after I showed her this Video...

Sorry, but I don't see it. The next major engine change is in 2022. 2021 is just an extension of 2020...

I would like to see Carlos do well in the Ferrari but I cannot help feeling that he is simply a lower-cost solution for an uncompetitive car. I mean, why pay Vettel all that money to drive a car that is a mid-fielder.
I hope that I am wrong because I am a fan of Sainz.

I just watched Weekend of a Champion which follows Jackie Stewart for a weekend during the 1971 Monaco Gran Prix. It was fascinating to see how radically F1 has changed in my lifetime. The garages are dark ratty little affairs, no pit wall they just park and work right next to the race lane, photogs and others on the freaking sidewalk feet and inches from the cars during the race, spectators standing right behind the Armco barriers, wives and girlfriends doing the timing with stop watches and clipboards, curbs were something to be avoided at all cost, safety was barely a consideration, racers being killed on a routine basis, etc. Its a miracle that hundreds of spectators and track workers weren't also killed during the 60s and 70s. Well worth the $3 or $4 bucks to rent from Amazon and other services if you can get past the fact that the producer is a pedo.

Indeed. I remember a (paraphrased) quote from him when he was still in the hospital. Vasser and Da Matta had gone to visit and he joked about "who was the lightest now" as that was a running joke between them. They were not sure who was cheering up who after the visit.

Rumblings that Mazepin might be out at Haas after his bad press reflected poorly on the team brand , Haas reserve driver Fittipaldi has updated his Twitter bio to read "Haas F1 Driver"

    I’d be ok with that.

Someone else that I think deserves a f1 seat is Nyck DeVries...

You are correct. Haas just can not break away from being F1's dumpster fire team.

The way things are going with drivers being signed up in their teens, Hamiltons record will be broken in 7-8 years. It'll be interesting to see how long of a contract George gets offered next year. It'll also be interesting to see how quickly Ferrari will get Mick into the No.1 team so he can bring the Schumacher's records back to Ferrari...

In particular I see George, Charles, Lando & Mick being in the sport for a very long time.. a few of them may even beat Kimi's records...
