Couple Questions, I have a 2021 TRD off-Road with the JBL Premium Sound system.

    1. does the automatic level control do anything? I have mine set to "on" but I don't detect any change in volume regardless of ambient noise level or speed. My wife's 2014 Sante Fe has this feature and it works great. If I drive with the windows down, the volume increases to keep it loud enough to hear at speed and backs it down as I slow down. Pretty much what I expect. My Tacoma seems to do nothing. I have checked and it does have the latest software update. I've also tried toggling this feature off/on several times with no effect.

    2. Entune Suite 3.0 I cannot seem to get this to work. I do have an older iPhone 6s+ but the Toyota compatibility list says it should work. I have put the Entire 3.0 App on my phone and created an account but when I login it just says "Error: Download the Toyota App to stay connected with your vehicle". I have the Toyota App on my phone and it works fine but I don't see anything to do with Entune in the Toyota App so I'm kind of stuck. I don't see a way to update my Entune suite with the apps that are currently available. Anyone have any insights? I hate to have to go to the dealer with this.

1: I think this just adjusts bass output dependent on speed.

2: do you have the toyota app, or the toyota entune app? toyota has multiple apps out, make sure you have the correct one. Also, entune apps suck, I installed it, then after 2 days I removed it.

Use the "Toyota" app not the entune. Entune has been phased out on 20-21 models

Did you check sensitivity on ALC?

Thanks Chaosh1, i sort of concluded that might be the case. Seems odd they still have a whole screen dedicated to an extinct app.

na8rboy, I don't believe there's a sensitivity adjustment on the 2021. Just "on" (activated) or "off.
