Hell maybe if they didn't wait 1.5 hours to wave the green flag we would have gotten to see some action. All that show-boating and didn't leave time to do actual racing

The pre race festivities for the 500 is ridiculous.

Remember when they used to start the race at noon? I miss those days. Bright paint jobs under the mid-day sun. Always made the 500 a bigger deal.

I won't be home until 6:15 so I'll miss most of the race. Thankfully I have Youtube TV on my phone so I can watch/listen at work.

I really want Chase to win it. But as long as the 22 don't win, I'll be fine.

Thats the problem I have. Somebody wants this or wants that. I was hoping to keep it complete.
Thought it was gone a few months back when someone from Charlotte Motor Speedway contacted me but realized it was a scam when I googled the address they gave me. Thinking I may put it up for auction.

Looked like he was about to pass on the bottom. The replay from the front showed him try to pull back up at the last second. One of them racing deals at 200mph.

So about these Toyotas running at half-throttle. I understand differing strategy and am familiar with the story of the Tortoise & the Hare but this is ridiculous What if all the teams decide to lay back? We'll have a slo-mo abomination of a race like speed walking in the Olympics.

Looked like he was afraid to push the 48 for the stage win after that.

Anyone notice Jimmy Johnson's heart rate go from 99bps to to over 115bps on that last restart ????
