i'll give you one pick and it's not the 4 or 2

 

That speeding ticket the 18 got was the best thing for him all day because he was able to steal the stage win . My picks 5 24 11 -- go 18 .

 

If Kyle Larson wins a NASCAR Championship would it be considered a season of unprecedented dominance compared to:

1998: Jeff Gordon- 13 Wins
2007: Jimmy Johnson - 10 Wins
2021: Kyle Larson- 8 Wins….

I’d say so. The 5 car, his first year as an HMS driver, has been a sight to watch. Could we see another dominant champion again?!

 

Considering the current level of competition is likely the best ever with at least 15 guys capable of winning each week, proven by the fact we've had something like 16 different winners this season, which is absolutely bonkers to consider in the shadow of Larson's dominance.

 

I say there's 15 guys that could have drove the 5 car to 8 wins . That team makes it look to easy .

 

I know Mr. H has that dual team deal where the #5 & #9 share a shop and all info and then the #24 and #48 share a shop and all info. It's as if he sees which teams are succeeding and which teams are struggling and he pairs them like F1 teams with the company vet and the younger guy in-house. But now it's ALL young guys and the hierarchy is pretty whack. He paired the 5 with the 9 so they could get up to speed with what the champ was doing even though Larson brought no funding and Mr. H funds that ride mostly through his dealership agreements (Hendrick Cars, Valvoline). Chase brings funding from Napa. Byron brings who knows how much (literally untold because that Liberty deal is a shady AF money laundering operation, IMO), and Bowman also runs on Mr. H's business dealings (Ally Financial is literally just a rebranded GMAC- Longtime Hendrick associate sponsor since 1993).

Sidenote: Ally only exists today because they took $17.2 billion dollars in Bush Bailout (TARP) funds in 2008 then got dinged for $98 million in fines a few years later for up charging black car buyers with bogus tack-on fees.

 

We'll see. Jimmie Johnson won the 2008 championship with 7 wins. Kyle Busch had 8 and Carl Edwards had 9 that year. Busch actually finished 10th in points that year due to a rough set of races during the chase.

 

I haven't heard that at all. I don't see him coming back. He's close to getting to run full time in Indy though.
