He just moved up to my #2 slot.

This has been a stressful and trying situation... but it's the 2nd time in the last year things have transpired to make me fall in love with the sport all over again.( the first was Bristol last year... the regulars probably remember. Its why I like Matty D now) At the end of the day... it's the humility of all the drivers in the sport.

Everyone seemed to miss it... I didn't. When Gibbs and co were celebrating at first there was a crew member who mentioned is Ryan ok... the Coach stopped celebrating and rallied the crew in prayer.

Now... I can celebrate how wildly awesome that last lap was. At the end of the day... it was exciting.

It's the same way with the fans, we all have our favorite driver, give each other shit at times, for who they pull for. But in times like this, we all come together. And honestly, I've never heard anyone at any time during Ryan's career, that they can't stand him or hate it when he wins. I hope he comes back stronger and better and does what Kyle did we he broke his leg.

Thoughts and Prayers sent to Ryan and his family and that he recovers quickly from his injuries . Hope he gets back into his race car and wins a race soon

I am so glad Newman was alive. Shame on fox for the end there. They should have never interviewed Blaney... he thought he killed his childhood idol and what do they do? Stick a mic in his face. Also kinda BS how they cut the broadcast like that

I'll be honest. I was shook up until they said he was alive. I've never seen something like that live. What's worse is I got home turned it on for that to be the first green flag laps I saw.

Yeah seeing it live was bad. I saw Earnhardt's live as well, on TV, not in person. I was also watching the 1st ever truck race at Daytona, live on TV, when Geoff Bodine went into the catch fence, that was horrible. Ryan's and Geoff's are pretty comparable. I thought both were killed, fortunately they weren't.

I picked it up about 10 to go... right before the last crash that caused overtime.

I didnt see Dale's crash... I was at work. All I remember there was customers coming in talking about it. Then I saw the replay on TV.

Wonder why Ryan and his wife split?

Also I wonder why all NASCAR drivers have super model wives and not normal wives with rolls and stuff? Set a good example that it's okay to be normal.

I was wondering the same thing when someone posted that they just split. I was thinking maybe she was tired of the racing life and maybe this would change his mind after being in nascar nearly half his life.

I hate it for the kids, they don't have a choice as to what their parents do. It doesn't matter if it's someone famous or you or me, I hate it for the kids.

If they need a sub, it's been reported Ross Chastain is that man. You'd think they'd get Chase Briscoe to step in, being a Ford driver and all.
