I suspect you are correct. I mean the 11 could do it. You would think at some point that MF has to be able to finish one of these things off! LOL....

 

I hate Phoenix the dog leg is sooo annoying

 

I go racing with my oldest next weekend. Given that he'll be racing, it will dip into our big-time race attendance budget, which is fine with me as I'm ready for a changeup. We'll be running winter points at the local dirt track. The Winter season (8 points races, 2 additional big money invitationals) runs through next March. Here are our Cup/Indy plans:

March Atlanta: Trucks, Xfinity, Cup
April Martinsville: Xfinity, Cup
May Indianapolis: Indy 500
August Daytona: Xfinity, Cup

We'll sprinkle in visits to our favorite regional bullrings across Georgia and the Carolinas, too.

 

I'm just hoping that this race won't be another snoozefest of drivers allowing the final 4 to run up front all race. The best thing Larson did, in my opinion, was break up the final 4 in 2019. Until his engine let go, that is.

 

And Denny will inevitably speed on pit road.

 

I would like to see the championship race at Martinsville. That would be something.

 

I think the 2 is the dark horse in this race. He was good there last year and feels he got a little robbed of being in the final 4. Lame duck with nothing to lose and wanting to make a point on his way out the door. I look for the 2 to be super aggressive with inferior equipment on Sunday.

 

I'd love to see it rotated in general. I wouldn't be mad about Martinsville one year. That Grandfather Clock would probably be cooler than the championship trophy!

 

I expect the 9 will have some sort of issue on Sunday. They have not done well putting complete races together this year. Last year I think they were a little overlooked. That car was lets say a special piece for sure. Hence it starting in the back and I think they other 3 kinda wrote them off. It's a lot more pressure on them now being the defending champs so I expect some mistakes will be made. But hey, you never know. Also as much as I like AG he is getting a little long in the tooth atop the pit box. Does a good job but I don't think he can compete with the likes of the guy on top of the 5 box. Chase does not have the experience of Gordon and guys like that to really make the call to change the car from the drivers seat. Everything points to the 5 but the weakness on that team is between Larson's ears. If they give him the car I expect them to then he should be several seconds out front and he can settle in and be fine but if he meets any real challenge it will be a struggle.

 

And if they got Cole Pern to setup the 19, everyone is screwed! LOL...

 

I could see the 4 winning. He's damn good in Phoenix.

Why are people like that

 

nascar is more that just going left. People are annoying

 

They could have picked a better track to finish the season off and have the championship race at then Phoenix. That race has never been good since it’s been there in my opinion.

 

every nascar race (Sonoma)I have ever been too they have gone left and right so I don’t know where the confusion is. Lol
