I think Harvick actually tried to get up there and bump him out the way... But if you watch the race again in that last restart Logano got Away enough to where Harvick can never catch back up.

I think if he could have he would have... he did it at New Hampshire a couple of seasons ago to I think Truex... and even he said that was racing.

As tragic as Daytona ended up... bumping at a place like Phoenix won't cause the catastrophe it did there.

The 4 was looking to bump him but could not get back to the bumper. SHR needs a little work. Brad will be with a different team next year. I am betting he will be in the 48 with his roots in HMS. He and JR are still close and he is about over being in the 2. Plus it is clear he is the black sheep now. And his cars and crew have won two races this year so I bet he is over it and wanting to stick it to the Capt.

Now Chase on the other hand. Mr. Hendrick needs to fire the whole effing crew!

Every time I tune in I say “well let’s see how Chase is gonna lose this time.”

Chase's car was great out front, wasn't worth a shit in traffic. The 9 team will get if figured out, he's fast this year, so when he gets a win, the flood gates will open.

I’ve been trying to track down a decent copy of the book, Stand On It. It’s long out of print.

Screw you and your logic! I feel like the 9 team is like "oh cool our car is 8 seconds faster than the field, lets knock off a valve stem." "Looks like we sewed up the most laps lead, lets try a run with two lug nuts." "This car is pretty fast, guess we can take our time in the pits". I mean you have to give it to the boys at the shop, they are building fast cars but the at the track guys need some work.

I am interested to see what the JGR cars do this weekend. I feel like KB got a lot more out of the 18 last week than the car had in it. If they don't find some speed on the 1.5's soon they might be in a little trouble.

I feel like Truex is pissed that Cole hung it up and things are not picking up where they left off. He has been fast but I think he is in his own head a little and does not have the faith in the team he is used to.

I also think this truck challenge that Harvick threw out to KB is a way to get into his head. He knows KB is not in the equipment he is used to having so if he can add a little pressure he feels like he can crack him. The 4 also knows where the last race is this year and I think he knows if he can get there he is the guy to beat. I think running 2nd might have been a little strategy on his part. No doubt he would have moved the 22 if he got to him but I think this plays well into the long game for him. Let the 22 have the spotlight when they return knowing you didn't show your hand in the spring. Really KB is the only competition for the 4 at that track if they are both at there best. Well I mean and the 9 but you know they will F that up at some point!

I'll be at AMS this weekend... so far the concerts will suck, I'm doubting the fanzine will be all that and the weather will be hit or miss... good old typical FU AMS lol... (no really of all the tracks I've been too AMS has gotten the laziest of them all. The concerts are trash, less vendors each year, tickets are high and the camping is a RIP off... but at least the racing is usually decent)

The weekend festivities are less about the actual race and more about making it an event for millennials attention spans.

Nowhere near the same environment as yesteryear.

Millennial here. No pre-race ceremonies. No pre-race concert or motorcycle burnouts. No driver intros either, honestly. I just want to go to the track, see them fire the engines, take two parade laps and race. No stages. Somebody blows a motor, don't throw a yellow for a TV timeout. Don't kill the pace of the race. If I want to see a concert, I'll go to a concert. If I want mandatory timeouts (yellows and stages), I'll stay at home and take my own bathroom breaks when I want.

Anyone else attending AMS all weekend besides @thewarriordinghy ? I'll share campsite location and throw some extra drumsticks on the grill if y'all will be around.

Talladega had Charlie daniels and Bristol had Joe Nichols, Fontana has had Bush and Stone temple Piilots. I just dont get how atlanta always gets trash for their venue.
I will be there. I'm not camping though... $75-100 to camp in a mud pit is too much for me...

Shit. Atlanta and homestead will run the races without fans. This flu shit has gotten out of hand.
