2021 NASCAR thread

I know of a pretty much free for all forum, but it's a Tundra forum. They don't give a shit. Anything goes.

 

They don't target certain regions/ flags?

 

History cannot be changed. It is who we are, good and bad. The rebel flag I own is small, it sits atop a base of cannon balls with a brass pole. The flag handmade like the rest standing a little over a foot tall. It was made and given to me by an African American man who was a blacksmith and descendant of a slave at Monticello who was also a blacksmith. I grew up only a few miles from there. He was proud of his heritage and a proud southern black man who disliked Yankees as much as everyone else.

What gets me, is we keep removing all these things to remind us of the past. Yes, I know some feel its a celebration of a bad person or time. But to many others it’s a reminder of what we once thought was good and how our society has changed. We continue to remove these historic items, it’s like we are trying to sweep the past under the rug.

 

I'm not watching, but count how many times theh virtue signal using bubba's car for tonight...

the spectacle of racing is no spectacle at all without the crows of people onlooking... hopefully that changes sooner than later across the sporting world, just my .02

if all are buttholes be out there standing in the rain during a rain a delay, why the hell cant those butthole be out there racin...

tire technology is better than ever
tracks today are safer than ever
racing in the rain would keep the action going and though obviously totally change the speeds and tactics, i think that would be entertaining

 

Basically without tread there's no chance, but even with tread, there is not enough friction to keep the cars planted, they would all hit the wall as soon as there is a turn. Martinsville and loudon don't have much banking, but a track with more banking has more centripetal force, so more friction is needed to keep the cars turning. They can road race in the rain, as the forces aren't as steep, but with an oval there is a greater friction force required to maintain speed.

 

The broadcasts also suck now, YouTube the old rain delays, they actually were entertaining back when Mikey and Steve Burns used to go from hauler to hauler and all through the campgrounds

 

Nascar just banned the Confederate flag....

 

I'm naming my Truck General Lee in honor of fuck the system.

 

Maybe all the drivers will bend the knee before the race too.

 

We all need to band together and not watch.... see how many "new fans" they get.... oh wait.... these virtue signaling idiots never worked in their lives.... so they won't watch it
