Oh yeah, get a couple of puff pieces circulating to pad the re-entry.

This is good news. Cindric to the 21 would not have been a good PR move at this point. I sense there would've been a lot of backlash. This gives Matt an opportunity to build on the success with the Woods. I sure wish they'd do a crew chief change. Brad's option is up at the end of 2021 and Matt has incentivized options for 2022 and 2023. So if he lights the series on fire next year, there could be an IN for him with the #2.

I actually like Gregg Irwin... he seems to make great calls.

The coming back in and topping off in that last pit sequence was genius.

Clint Bowyer is retiring at the end of the season. Gonna be in the fox booth on Sundays. Speculation is, chase Briscoe will be in the 14 next year.

As much as I'd like to see that, I would be surprised if that happens. On the other hand, everybody knows, Tony really wants him.

43- Jones or Dillon w/ Medallion

Roval was a ton of fun. Part of me hoped for rain but I’m glad we didn’t have to sit in it. The bottom fell out about 30 minutes after the race. We sat so close that we smelled like race fumes all the way home.

After the race in Vegas a few years ago, my buddy and I got back to the hotel and he took off his hat and sunglasses; I burst out laughing.

He was so covered in soot and rubber dust I told him it looked like he fell down a mine shaft.

It was a pretty foregone conclusion who was going to win, and as I've said many times, Charlotte Roval just feels forced and like it isn't made for racing like, say, Daytona road course is.

That’s awesome! Back when they let folks stand at the fence, I’d come home pretty sooty with melted tire rubber stuck in my hair.

We were right at the point where they jumped on the brakes for turn 1 and for some reason it was extra-fume-y. I recon it was the backpressure on the exhaust.
