They won't, though. It's too important for downforce and trying to keep the cars on the ground.

The continued babbling to the point you are attempting to make does not change my opinion. You have the opinion you formed and I will keep mine. After 30 years following the sport I am not looking to enhance my education on the matter.

Also it is their*. Meaning the sport belongs to them and they make the decisions of what constitutes a caution. Not in that they are physically at the track.

Only caught the final 20 laps but that was a fun one!

It was a pretty good race. I got a little salty for a min but I was expecting it.

In the context which you used it, "there" is appropriate. You didn't use it in an ownership context.

As for your opinion; I'm not expecting to change it, but am telling you I disagree.

LOL, Jesus effin Christ man! Now you are informing me of the context that I was thinking of when I posted something. If you understood the sport you would understand that the “sanctioning body” of NASCAR is rarely at the event so that is indeed what I meant to say! In 13 years on this site I have never blocked anyone until now. Congratulations... enjoy the rest of your life. I know mine will be improved without you in mine. LOL...

"The sanctioning body is not their to “make it interesting” LOL"

It doesn't matter what you were thinking, it is not the correct use in this context. That's all I'm saying. Take care, I guess. To each, their own.

Larson & Bell should take everyone to school in that one. But it's dirt so who knows!

Homestead this week. I expect the 4 will take that one. Usually a boring race. Being they are still in FL I expect some rain delays.

The 4 is dangerous this year. Seems like Kevin is just putting his head down and getting to work. He was steady yesterday at arguably his worst performing circuit. Had a solid finish, his early exit from the playoffs seems to have given him something to prove. They normally start a little slow but I have a feeling this might be his year.

LOL, I mean I hope I am wrong but it is a little concerning how the media is hardly mentioning him. I expect he will be in the mix for sure but I can also see them start running off wins. With the performance from last year and with Rodney willing to play in the gray areas like CK I think they might feel a little disrespected.

Ready for a normal track this weekend. Hopefully it's a little more exciting than recent years...or most of the last 2 races. But those had exciting endings, however.

I still don't like the formula for the determination of starting order. I mean... how hard would it be to do an hour or 2 practice session and take times from that to count as qualifying. Or... go to an old school 1 lap session. But this format keeps drivers who had a good week prior up front and a bad week in the back in perpetuity. Its hard to continually dig yourself out of holes.

Agreed. Baby steps, but I do believe the calling no practice or qualifying at most tracks was a bit pre-mature.

Exactly. At this point they should have some sort of practice. This run what you brung is not how NASCAR is designed and gives some teams a major advantage.

I mean... if you're worried about distancing...

Break it down... have 20 teams do an hour of practice... pause for an hour... then let the other 20 practice. A 3 hour gap isn't gonna be that much drastic of a difference on the track. Set qualifying times based on practice.
