Awesome! How’s the weather? stripe bass is running off the coast as well. Good fishing this time of the year.

Anyone have a recommendation for spots near Cherry Lake? Headed out to do some camping soon.

There's a lot of forest roads up that way with pretty sweet views.

Took her to work today; mild dirt roads but gorgeous woodlands.

Where is the good camping spot for this weekend. I’m scouring my pins and just not sure where the snow is. I was at the top of bowman a few weeks ago and it was pretty deep still. Did met 3 weeks ago and there’s still plenty of snow there. Id like to fish. Lol

We didn't venture to the lake its self. But we got to the spot

Snuck in and out. Friday was perfect, but Saturday woke up to it snowing.

Any of you guys familiar with Usal Rd from Hwy 1 north into King Range? Was there once a few years ago and remember there being a gate just north of the Hotel Gulch/Timber Haul intersection: https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8386042,-123.8432569,17.75z?hl=en

We were there out of season (January) so I'm hoping that's why it was closed and that it would be open this time of year. Hoping to head that way in May. Appreciate any info you might have!

That gate gets closed when the road becomes impassable.

Yeah, I figured they closed due to winter storms washing out the road and dropping trees. Any idea if those closures are posted online anywhere?

Edit: And is that the only gate I'd have to worry about between Hwy 1 and King Range? Have never driven that stretch.
