I worked evenings, weekends and holidays, 6 (sometimes 7) days a week for about 17 years.
There are some advantages to having weekdays off like you said.
Just be prepared to do most things by yourself. Which isn’t bad either.
But, I’ll never go back to working weekends.

Hey guys just found this thread! Ya I tried strawberry pass (started at hwy50) about a month ago and only made it halfway. At the time I had Fox 2.0s with icon AAL. Also this was before I had my front bumper and sliders on. It was pretty difficult without any armor. I would def recommend sliders, at least 3” lift, and front clearance. The trail was pretty tight and challenging for my truck. I’d try it again with my new 2.5s and full armor. Passed a broken down jeep with 40s on the trail haha

I’ve never done it, but everything I’ve heard from friends it sounds like a mild trail. Driver mod, seat time makes things easier.

Yup 100%. I found it challenging but someone may find it easy. I don’t mind cosmetic damage but some obstacles would have caused some damage if I didn’t take my time and avoid some routes.

I actually just ran Strawberry Pass with another Taco from 88 to 50, which makes it much easier to slide down the rocks. I agree from 50 to 88 it would be rough and I saw Jeeps on 38s bang around their armor. I had some great spotting on 2 of the bigger obstacles and just worked out my sliders, maybe touched my stock armor and tail pipe (4runner problems).

My set up is just 3inch lift, 33s, sliders, stock elocker in the back.

Me too! I wasn’t able to go camping but was able to squeeze in a day trip this past Saturday. I was going to text @silvertep and @530Taco but I thought you guys might be camping.

We started off at Strawberry and ended up at 88, we then went to Foresdale road through Lost Lakes and Lower Blue Lake.

it was fun, there were three spots that was challenging but very fun. Lift is recommended and sliders would help for sure. Sliders did save a buddy of mine’s 4Runner. Saw a lot of deep carved markings on some of the rocks no doubt.

It hailed on us as well while on the way to Lost Lakes.

Made it up to Bucks Lake on the Rubicon-Tahoma trail. Just did a little day trip and it was an awesome trail. Nothing too complicated but got to use my sliders, skids, rims, and apparently exhaust (scroll down for the outcome lol).
