Again, that was such an awesome day that I didn't even notice my steering wasn't straight while driving home! Some stranger danger log that I must've ran over. A little tie rod adjustment and checking under there. All is well!

But I will take up on that Mod Day! Looking into jerry rigging a jerry can holder. Possibly weld?..

 

We could figure something out for that Jerry can

 

It was an awesome time! Thanks for putting this together Matt. And thanks for everyone who came out.

I’m always down for the next one. But hopefully the next time we can make it an overnight trip.

And i’m ready for whenever the next mod day is, I have a lo pro bumper with a winch and light bar to install.

Ooh can I get in on this? I need to rig up something to mount a jerry can in the bed of my 1st gen.

 

Not to good at framing shots and knowing when to get out and take shots but its a start. Also, have some dash cam stuff soon as I can figure out how to get it in order.

Thanks Matt! Just working out what to get. Trying to pick a lift thats gonna work with everything else I'm planning. Down to lend a hand on other guys mods too. Hang out, learn a thing or two, turn some wrenchs. Always a good time.

 

Right on... Hit us up in the Mod Day thread (so we don't hijack this one). Quite a few people with quite a few different setups that can help you zero in on what you might want to do with your build.

Fantastic pictures guys! Sorry I missed this but thanks for sharing pics and special thanks to @El Taco Diablo for posting the Gaia trail map I’m saving for a future trip. Did you see many good dispersed camp spots? I wouldn’t mind taking this as a 2-3 day camping trip

 

There's a ton of dispersed camping around that area.

Great video @BrokenCoastie! Sorry we didn’t find you guys, we were just too tired after Eagle’s. I did get to ride in a rock buggy around lions butt and that was probably the funnest time in a 4 wheeler I’ve ever had. Now I’m thinking of building one

 

Damn it. Why do I also miss these events? When is the next on planned? Do you fellas normally make it a day trip or do you make camp? Are the trails you normally go on too much for a stock 1st gen 4X4 with rear locker?
