Just read through like 8 or so pages that I hadn't caught up with in that thread and I don't see anything that would justify having it locked? Unless I missed something

When you have to get rid of the politics, it takes a while. Easiest to do it while it’s locked.

The thread has had several warnings over the years and it’s occasionally locked and cleaned up.

There’s a thread somewhere with banned camp members. You can probably figure out who/what there.

if you’re wondering why I have a little more empathy, it’s cause no one gets paid to be a moderator. I’ve done it for a long time (couple other sites).

 

I asked reasons in a chat with staff. No response yet. The AZ guys are on their 5th BS thread, so I thought the mods would let the 2.0 happen.

We all try and keep within the bounds of the COC so I'm sure they'll open it back up after a proper cooling off period. What that time frame may be isn't mentioned in the COC so your guess is as good as mine.

I almost chimed in last night about some of the shit that was posted. I didn't because it would have been me getting a little vacation. This site is full of LEO, EMS, and FS. Speaking ill of an of them is generally a bad idea. I'm former FD and managed to barely keep my mouth shut.
