I took my family for a snow/sled day last week. We went up Bowman Lake Rd. until we couldn't anymore. From that point on, only permitted snowmobiles. It was probably 4 miles up Bowman Lake Rd at that point. The snow on the shoulders were DEEP. Need snowshoes or else you just sink.

Yeah I don’t think there will be any around the lake, I was just wondering if there was some good spots near it

First camping trip of the year. Windy but the kids had fun. Hoping to head back again.

It was good, found plenty of snow up the on top of that ridge above bowman. But we camped down lower in the dirt. Can’t complain the weather was a llittle too perfect for late February!

Anyone been over to the 395 corridor yet this year? Any snow on the ground in the valley floor?

It’s a pretty long road... as far as the southern/central Sierra part @theesotericone would probably know.

haha it is a long road indeed. Suppose I could have been more specific.

Interested mainly in the area between Mammoth and Topaz, which is a long segment in and of itself!

1st outing in the runner..... Ran into some knuckle heads. Lol. Initial thoughts on the 4runner.

Super comfy on the hwy with great power up the hills. Miss Piggy loves it. Offroad... Tacoma 1st gen > 4runner ..... The Tank dominates. I couldn't tokyo drift in this thing

Take this heretical talk to T4R!

Off road, I kinda think this would do OK with similar configuration. But I like the cozy-like the heated seats. Who doesn't like heated seats? Don't lie to me Nando :D
