Well…I got back too late from the east coasts to get one last night of camping in.

69 nights of camping for the year is a nice round number.

Thanks for the invite today @Fernando. I didnt get a single picture. We only got about 30 yards in. Snow was deep and guys on 42s were getting stuck.

 

Next time bro. Sorry for the let down. I normally get pretty sideways when wheeling. . That sucked

I went out and drove Moonrocks over the weekend. It's been a couple of years since Ive been out there and since my last visit they've banned firearms, alcohol, fireworks and added a 25 MPH speed limit. WTF Nevada?!

Anyway. I drove in the rocks for a bit and then headed out to get some sunset photos for the gram.

I'm looking at hitting a few notable peaks in the Shasta area come spring. Shasta Bally and Bully Choop. Looking for some pre-trip advice.

1) Is April a good time to go? I'm hoping for a window that is Post-Snow, but Pre-Fire season.
2) Can folks confirm the routes up to these will be open? (from latest knowledge)
3) Any good camping in the area?

 

I hit Overland Bound in Livermore for their event yesterday. Met a few people but feel like I forgot the adventure wear. Also missed a presentation by a couple who are traveling in a pretty cool rig built by Bison Overland Campers. Saw a cool Mitsubishi Montero. An FJ100 (for sale), and other rigs.
