2021 OR w/ homelink?

Just put a deposit down on a OR w/ tech & premium OR packages. Knew what I wanted before walking into the dealer but couldn't go look at a similarly equipped truck since they've had ZERO '21s on their lot for pushing two weeks now. Obviously not a deciding factor but curious about the Homelink availability. Per the Toyota brochures only limited and Pros is this even an option. However, I've seen several "walk around" videos of trucks that match my allocation but have the additional MTM option and they have all had homelink mirrors. I'm assuming that is part of the premium OR package and not just the level that also includes the MTM. Can anyone verify this?

@farmtacoma Was curious if the homelink is on premium models that do not also have the MTM.

Again, I'm operating under the assumption it is part of all "premium OR" packages, base/tonneau/MTM levels.

Mine 21' OR w/ premium upgrade came up with the homelink but not the MTM. When I was speaking to my dealer (North Carolina) 1. They had never even heard of or seen a vehicle with MTM roll into their lot. So I have to explain what it was to them. 2. I had noticed from watchin toyota's website "build your own" that the packages and its contents varied frequently.

Homelink is probably easy to come by with their package and I would imagine its not something to worry about. But with regards to MTM you'll have to talk to your dealer. With the current market you may have to make some compromises.

 

I have 2021 DCSB OR.. premium and all other tech features. I have MTM as well and YES to home link. Like @farmtacoma mentioned, no sunglasses holder.

 

@jt13077 DOH!! I read your response and looked at @farmtacoma's pictures and lumped them together in my mind before I responded.

Awesome--tried using a generic/programmable remote for our garage and it is such a POS that it actually only works when I'm standing directly under the opener (with a new battery). Hope the truck's will work better or suppose I could actually get a new opener...

 

My better half leaves a pair of junker sunglasses in the holder in my current truck so guessing w/o the MTM the sunglass holder is still there--would be nice to not have to chase them across the dash whenever I turn!

 

Plenty of cup holder as your sunglasses holder lol. Or better yet, phone charging dock is where I place my sunglasses

 

No sunglasses holder, as I have the MTS, not the MTM. Select but no monitor.

 

Sunglass are for sport owners

so yeah 11 year old tech - should be fine

My 2021 TRDOR DCSB 6MT with premium pkg and advanced tech pkg (which includes MTM) has homelink which was not specified anywhere, including the factory sticker and surprised my salesman. I also have the sunglass holder, which is somewhat of a Consolation prize to us MT owners who do not have the extra buttons associated with crawl control for automatic transmissions. So, if you have a loaded TRD OR DCSB with 6MT there is room for the sunglass holder. Otherwise, you have to leave the package associated with those extra buttons off the AT version in order to get the sunglass holder. Confusing enough?

 

Homelink would be super convenient for work, but I did not get the premium package as I am tall an needed the headroom (no sunroof). Can I order the Toyota homelink mirror assembly? If so, is it plug and play?
