2021 paint issues

    This is the opposite they apply EXTRA paint in that area to prevent rust as this area gets chipped with rocks/salt whatever.

    I have noticed that on my 2021 the paint has a lot of orange peel. I realize this isn't a custom paint job but I've had a couple of people comment on it. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed that.

    That is completely normal for that part of the door. Its for rock chip protection.

    The pinch weld are starting to lose their clear coat. They probably didn't spray it completely like they should. That would be something I would address with the dealer. Unless its the angle and shadow of the photo that is making it look like that.

    Can't say I'm surprised. My 2019 TRD Pro literally had a different (wrong) shade of blue around the grill. Oddly enough, I didn't catch it until my PPF installer noticed it. Fortunately the dealer was able to remedy it by having it repainted.
