Meh.. It looks like another "I wanna play it safe but be 'different' so I can look cool pulling into my '3rd-house-on-the-left' tract home" color.

Not a bad color, but they're becoming formulaic now...

Cement is the goth girl. Drab on a cloudy day; no sparkle in the sun.

Then you grow up and realize that high school is a joke, and that girl you settled for is a long term find, that ages well and appreciates with time. All those hot girls in high school peaked in high school and aged terribly. You eventually look back and realize they were attractive for the wrong reasons.

Time to grow up and make adult choices...

Well judging by the responses here I am going to be in the minority by saying “I Like it”. I am still in the market for my first Tacoma but due to dealer lots being dried up I think I am going to wait for the 2021s when they start pumping those out. Don’t think I will be getting this color but it really isn’t that bad.

I’m in the “I like it camp” as well, first time I saw that color in person I tried to get my wife to buy a RAV4.

I always try to imagine a 20 y.o. vehicle with some of these new colors and it rarely looks good to me

I like the Lunar Rock on the Rav4,but not at all on this Tundra.Love the VooDoo blue on my Taco, but not on the Tundra.Maybe the additional black trim on the Taco tames down these bold colors.

Agree 100% that he Black trim tones colors. I hate Army Green on a Tundra or Sequoia. Just too much Green. But IMO its the best color on the Tacoma.

It looks pretty bland. If they are going to have an exclusive color at least make it look special. That yellow that people were speculating on months ago would've been better.

Agreed, it goes from army green to this. A bit disappointing, but I am glad that the people who like get to order it. I would never buy a pro anyways.

These "colors", all of them, will time and date stamp a vehicle. Other than '60's-era muscle cars, you don't want to time and date stamp anything. You wanna' remember COVID in 5, 10, 20 years? Years from now these unique "boutique" colors will "chrono-locate" them specifically to this period, in the same way that a song takes you back to a specific time and place. That, and factoring in the certain UV degradation of these colors to something that they weren't when new, to something that could not be forecast or foreseen at the point of purchase. Theses colors will "die" quicker than other colors with proven longer UV resistance. Been around cars since the 60's. Extensive history there of which colors die faster. This change in eye appeal will eventually bring about owner contempt, color-choice remorse and a "what was I thinking" premature divestiture. One Sunday morning you are going to wake up and turn over to find your beautiful Taco gone. In its place, seemingly overnight, a two eightball toothless coke whore of a truck sitting in your driveway. Yeah, she's still gonna' be able to get down/get up/get out with the best of them when you ask her to, but do you really want to have to drive her with a pillowcase over your head? (Or over hers?) Good luck when that day arrives. Potential buyer pool will be incrementally smaller due to the above, leading to diminished resale value. I mean, who ever bought a used gen-1 T4R because of its color? More likely, who all PASSED on buying a used gen-1 T4R BECAUSE of its color? I wouldn't buy a yellow FJ, I'd wait.

Ask. Me. How. I. KNOW! There was a thing back in the day, 1976 to be exact, called...The Bi-Centennial. You could buy ANTHING in a Bi-Centennial commemorative Limited-Edition model, usually including red, white and blue. Great collector's value, right? That's what we thought! Neighbor bought a Bi-Centennial motif'd boat motor!

By '85 people were LAUGHING at anyone who would be seen in public sporting anything Bi-Centennial. He took some good-natured shit on the boat ramp, and he had to almost give it away to sell it.

I have credible lifetime experience in this kind of stuff. Bad decisions, not coke whores. Not toothless ones anyways, but I remain hopeful. You probably don't have credible experience in bad decisions. At least not to the extent that I do. You have been warned.
