It wildly looks like a Tacoma/F150 hybrid. Did anyone else garner that from the front side window slope and the tail lights?

edit: nvm I see I’m not alone in my observation.

Lol it’s like Nissan said what are the 2 top selling trucks in America in their segments? And now here we have the 2022 Frontier.

Holy shit. That's EXACTLY what it looks like. And they didn't even try to hide it.

I like the skid plate/bumper. I thibk the truck looks good overall. I personally think it looks too much like a 3rd gen. For me the 3rd gen is visually becoming less appealing to me. I still think the 3rd gen looks good, I'm just not that excited over them. Probably from looking at them all of the time.

Definitely a taco with GMC front end. Not bad looking but they couldn't go their own way? tailgate design is a complete rip off. I feel like they are now up to par with everyone else, it doesn't seem to offer anything new or better than the previous frontier or competition....but maybe i'm missing something.

Does it still ride like an empty box van? Worst test-drive I ever had. I honestly don't get why people get those - it was not smooth or even at all.

Titan/tacoma hybrid. Nissan is reliable and a great rig, my xterra is a tank and never quits. But, aftermarket support is shit. So, buy if you want to keep it stock, or wait forever for any aftermarket stuff. I think it looks like a rushed redesign.

Definitely took some styling cues from other makes/models. It'll be interesting to see if Nissan can finally compete. Of course let's not forget that Dodge/Chrysler could put a Dakota out as well.

Mostly electrical shit that nobody cares about.
Plagiarism is the sincerest form of flattery.

In all seriousness, this is a very long due refresh for the frontier, but something about it is still... a Nissan. Curious to see how their rear seat legroom compares to the tacos.

Hmmmm. I like the exterior but I definitely see styling queues from Ford, Toyota & GM.

I like the flat headlights, hood and grill. Nothing bulbuls. The crew cab doors still look stubby like the prior model years. Interior is improved but still seems to be a little outdated. Infotainment screen is only 7” and 4WD selector looks unchanged. Its a good start but will it be enough to please people shopping in the Mid sized truck segment?

It looks they told the design team to take the F150 and Tacoma and create some hybrid of the two...

Love it. I'll be picking one up in a few years if the pricing is right! My 2010 Pro-4x 6spd still has a ton of life in it for the time being.
