Curious if anyone has installed the light strips in the bed of a 2021 and tapped into either the stock bed light wiring (which would use the stock switch) or the trailer harness (using an aftermarket switch).

I found a few misc posts but nothing specifically for the 2021. Figured I’d ask if anyone has done this and know exactly which wires are positive and negative. Also, does anyone know if the trailer harness gets constant power? I think I’d prefer this method as I can use an aftermarket switch independently of the cargo light switch.

Not sure how much this helps...2020. I tapped into the OEM bed lights to install some rock/courtesy lights. Pretty easy. I used the driver's side plugging power both of the bed lights, and used the passenger side plug to power the rock lights.IMG_1523.jpg

Do you happen to remember which wire is positive and which is negative?

Nah, that was 8 mos ago! A multi meter should be able to read it though.
