I was comparing specs on the SR vs SR5. The SR model has dual zone AC standard but SR5 doesnt even have it as an option?! This has to be a mistake right?

Well... I had read/ heard dual climate was to be standard, but just checked an e- brochure and it’s not listed...now not sure.

6 cylinder models have dual climate, not 4 bangers.

I was told that it comes with all V6 engines. Not sure how accurate that is though.

The the heck lol, maybe they are still updating the site and fixing errors. The 4x4 V6 DC short bed has no dualzone ac listed, but the longbed version does. Must just be a mistake

Your 2020 Tacoma is not a 2021 Tacoma which is what is in question, changes between model years happen

Mine was part of a package not standard like Tech so best to ask a dealer if you don’t like the answer on TW

Your reading comprehension skills are lacking, current Toyota literature for model year 2021 have conflicting information about options. What may have been true for a MY 2020 may not be true for a MY2021. Also, the trim in question is the SR5, not a TRD Sport.

All the 2021s should have dual zone. Personally I think it is overrated. My 2019 SR5 has the regular knobs and I like the simplicity of it over dual zone.

    this and that...
thats awesome tbh. i bought a dual zone control unit just cause i wanted the digital layout. i actually didnt care about dual zone in and of itself. needless to say, i still have the dual zone unit in my storage unit lol. never got it to work just right.

on a side note, you can tell the 3rd gen is starting to wind down. toyota usually does this at the end of a generation run. start giving lower trims some goodies as standard.

Dual zone isn't that complicated. Plus the "auto" feature is nice. Same amount of knobs. Plus, I just hit sync and it is single zone again.

I have The plain jane hvac system in my 2020 too. I like the simple knobs. It's me only 90 percent or more of the time in the truck so no need to have an extra zone.

Same here, but that 10% is what drove me to dual climate. Especially in the winter when I'm overheating and my significant other is still cold. I just hit sync when I don't need 2 different temps and it's back to normal.

This is the statement that would sell people on this for sure. I mean I feel we have all been there before.

Also the exact reason I wanted heated seats knowing I'll never use them on my seat.
