2021 Tacoma ambient temp sensor issues

    2021 Tacoma TRD
    I have a 2021 Tacoma with less than 1k miles on it and have been having issues with the ambient temp sensor. Starting last week, the temp would show - - on my dash during the day. The temp would come back early in the morning or later in the evening. It’s been doing this for 5 days now. I unplugged the sensor and everything looking good. I called the dealer, but they’re a week out, so I just wanted to see anyone else has had these issues. Thanks for the help!

    I've never had the - - show up, but mine has been far from accurate since it was new.
