2021 Tacoma Android Auto Music Issue

Has anyone experienced an issue when listening to music on Spotify through Andriod auto it will like pause for a second then start again. like it skips? does it quite often.. any help would be appreciated.

 

Yes there are a few threads on this, if you use the search feature. Some fixed the issue with a new cable, others messing with the BT settings.

I don't think this is just an issue with Tacoma's but Android Auto in general. Google search will bring up this issue with all different car manufacturers and phone types.

 

Yep. Mine is using iTunes with downloaded music on my s20+. It will skip from time to time and alot of times no audio will play and I have to hit pause play for it to play the audio. I have tried to remove the device and reset everything with no luck. I just fund android auto as garbage.

 

I tried the BT settings and have a brand new cable, it worked perfectly fine in the truck I traded in 3 days ago... so I was thinking it's more of a Toyota problem but I could be wrong.

 

I have the same problem when its plugged in via USB, every couple min it will pause for like a second. Really annoying but I will try to get a new cable.
