You guys missed the money shot!! The Russians get a 14 litre cooled glove box?! Like, that’s more than enough room for a 6-pack of tall cans.

When I’m driving around with my daughter, I could be like “hey kid, reach into that there glove box and hand daddy a nice cold beer”.

That's too soon and will require too much development. I would assume Toyota engineers will color the glovebox key hole black.

Of course. Ladas are built with recycled metals from Chernobyl are going to be radiant. You don't even need to start the car to feel its warmth or operate it for that matter.

They won’t, but because they did sit on it and because the sat on other models, it throws them behind as multiple models are sharing the same TGNA-F platform and not feasible for any manufacturer to release multiple new models the same year on a shared platform. Tundra 2022, 4Runner 2023, new Tacoma 2024.

The huge sales success that is the 2019 Tacoma that you mention in the first paragraph pretty much is the reason that there is no incentive for the Forced Induction that you long for in your second paragraph as well as the reason it will be a while until there is a 4th gen.

My truck loan will be paid off in July 2022, so a 2023 or 2024 introduction of a new 4th gen would be perfect timing to entice me into a trade-in...provided that they still offer a manual trans.

At the price point that 2020's are selling for Toyota needs to step up their game. I think they've gotten a bit greedy. It seems like they've gotten even more expensive for 2020 vs. 2018 maybe it's that low inflation
