It's probably a CQI adjustment to mitigate the complaints about crosswind whistling. My 2016 will produce the whistle in certain conditions, strong cross wind angling from left. I guess it depends on how often you have those conditions to determine how much of a nuisance it is. Mine has done it a few times in 5 years, not a big deal to me, especially if the "cure" is ruining how the doors just click shut.

Yes, but as everyone knows the only true door is a fucking manual door, automatic doors are for mall crawlers. It takes a special breed to have the skills required to operate the levers involved in the manual latching and unlatching of a door mechanism. Only the select few truly understand how awesome a manual door is.

If you haven’t welded your doors shut and slide in through the windows like “dukes of hazard” it’s a mall crawler.

Fuckin bullshit nanny control gizmos locking the doors. They should have manual lock outs.

(we replaced our Fanuc EDM 6 years ago with a Makino. It's overkill for an R&D lab but it's like going from a Model T to an Escalade)

    Sometimes satire/sarcasm misses the mark.

Two years after my original post on the "door closing hard" problem, as some of you have suggested, it will get better with time.

    And it has.

Still requires a firm push/pull, but it is somewhat easier.

Thanks for all your replies and have a great Holiday Season.
