2021 Tacoma extended warranty

I would like some information on extending warranty prices you paid and the length of warranty.

2021 Tacoma TRD off-road.

i want to make sure i am getting fairpricing for my new truck warranty

They call me on the phone about my vehicle’s extended warranty all the time!

 

Good luck determining fair pricing because part of it involves dealership. And deal you get on warranty depends on how much you got them to come down from sticker on the truck.

Finally, no where near all extended warranties are the same. I paid $2100 for 7yr 75k bumper to bumper (minus any maintenance items like brakes and such). 10yr 200k powertrain came with the truck, no extra cost which is standard for the dealership whether tacoma or corolla.

 

I can’t remember exactly but I think it was a week (brand new 7miles off lot) maybe less when my warranty expired and I needed to extend. I was so scared I didn’t want my brand new truck to break down so I signed up immediately

 

Don’t buy the warranty until you get close to the original factory one expiring. Just in case you don’t keep the vehicle.

My last 3 Toyota Factory extended warranties. Not 3rd party ones.

I purchased for my Lexus and Toyota’s was from Jerry. Highly discounted for the quote from the selling dealership.

from what I understand, you can add a Toyota (not third party) waranty any time before the three year factory runs out. The prices are negotiable as set by the finance officer. The make $ off it. You can also go to any toyota dealer to purchase it. Shop around.
