My Tacoma has a rear end whine at 45 to 60 miles an hour when you barely push gas pedal. Dealer tells me it's a characterist of Tacoma. They replaced rear Differential at 1500 miles but still whining. Anyone had same problem, I've bought my Tacoma in March 2021.

I believe it is common, mine does it, but it's very faint. I'd rather leave it then have the monkeys at the dealer tear it all to hell and still not stop it.

my 2nd gen always did that. It was never a problem and never changed sounds at all. My 3rd gen doesnt have the same sound.

Why did they change it the first time?
