    Morning All,

I am looking to lift my 2021 OR, but given it's brand new, I don't want to replace the suspension.

What is the safe lifting range for the stock bilsteins?

I was thinking either a 2.5" or a 3". I just don't want to lift it out of the safe functioning range of the struts.

    Thank you for your time!

You need new shocks all around for a 2.5-3” lift. You can get by with the stockers for a 1” lift (and up to about 1.5” in the rear), but anymore than that and you’ll have issues.

This⬆️⬆️. The most economical way would be to mirror Toyotas Trd lift . Which is 2” front+ 1” rear . The Trd lift uses rebranded Bilstein 5100’s and a 1” lift block. Cost is @ $500 if you get Bilsteins version.

Installation and alignment will be all thats needed after that, and you will have a lifted Tacoma with as little non-factory modification as possible. As far as Im aware, 5100’s are as close as you can get to the factory ride. They are designed to be used with factory coils as well.
Bilstein give a lifetime warranty on their components vs Trd 12mo/12K miles.

Thank you for this. I was just looking up some different struts and noticed the Bilstein 5125. Is there much of a difference in the two?

Hard top camper...many more to add+
5100 is for stock mounts….5125 is for lifts. Best to consider a max is 6/5 high adjustment ..I hear you get a better ride with 5/4 …driver side should one notch higher
Lifting has many things to consider?
Sway bar relocation kit , front diff drop kit, higher bump stops, rear drive drop spacer kit? Upper control arms?
    Add-a-lift?
Look into to these Bilstein 6100s front and 5160s…. most of the above is a one time purchase?

Depends on what you are planning to use your truck for…? Will depend how far you are willing to up grade too?
    Aloha,
