@TruckGuy63 to install the head unit did you need to cut into the factory harness?

Your radio is different than mine but there is a company called auto harness warehouse and I also believe the companies that sell dsp’s to add an amp you can buy just the plugs
Amp pro is one I will send the name of the other later

Maybe I want to only replace dash speakers, front door speakers and rear door speakers leave stock head unit and stock amp and sub. Are there options to do it with plug and play only. What would be my speaker options that would fit?

I really want to go all out with amps and sub but thinking that might be over my head.

right now there is just muffled sound at best out of the door speakers

It will sound better for sure
One of the earlier posters on here did the speakers. If you scour through the audio section you could do the speakers up front / with new tweeters. Leave the rear alone because the system gives the rears so little power , and maybe take the jbl box out in the rear / open it up and just change the speaker only . But like I said look through the audio section and see what people use
Or the other option is if you have a good audio company near you get the system done by a pro.
I bought mine a little at a time took a few days off during the holiday and banged it out. It’s tedious but not terrible. But you do need to take your time
