    Stock so far
    Hey Everyone,

Just bought my first Tacoma a 2021 SR5 double cab short bed. I love my Taco but it's a bit under powered looking for more power without spending a heck of a lot of money. Thinking about a K&N cold air intake but I'm concerned with fuel economy, would I need to remap/flash the computer settings too gain the max power of the air intake? Also want to change/upgrade either the headlight and tail light bulbs to LED or swap out the headlight and tail lights housings too LED setup. Where would I find the bulb size so I can change too an LED so it will fit correctly.

For power there are people on here that can flash your ECU cheaper than buying everything you would need to do it yourself and it would definitely give you more power. Cold air intake is a rabbit hole on here so be careful. My theory is more airflow more fire which=power. Laws of combustion don’t really change from car to car or in other aspects of life either. As for lights there are definitely bulbs out there that will give you more light and white light. I switched to the Morimoto xb 2.0 headlights which aren’t cheap and once they’re aligned and pointed properly give you a lot of light and projection. If you just want more light Amazon has some pretty decent bulbs in the $50+ range that will be a noticeable upgrade from stock. Meso customs has some cool tail light led conversion kits as well. Welcome to TW I hope that helped.

Welcome, I won’t comment on the intake, I’m sure that will be covered by others. Headlights, if you want LED go with the full oem replacement or people seem to like the XB’s also. And tail lights, the Meso stage total tail upgrade is pretty great.
