2021 Tacoma

There are a lot of midsized trucks now.
Jeep, Chevy, Ford, Nissan, etc

Toyota Should give us these options at least for the 2021 Tacoma to compete

- Front + Rear Lock Differential
- Sway Bar Disconnect
- Diesel Option for more power/fuel
- Upgraded Transmission to 8 Speed
- More Responsive Transmission

Diesel is a non starter in a small truck, makes zero sense

 

Everyone wants diesel because it isn't offered. The moment it is offered, no one buys it because it's gutless and costs a ton. How many diesel Canyons do you see on the road?

That being said:

I have a rear locker, but sure, I'd take a front one too.
- Sway Bar Disconnect
My sway bar is disconnected and in my garage somewhere next to my mudflaps
- Diesel Option for more power/fuel
Nope.
- Upgraded Transmission to 8 Speed
I chose the M/T so no thanks.
- More Responsive Transmission

Well whatever they do to it will be good, I mean, look at butt tops - the game from the same country that invented Toyota’s.

 

How about making intermittent windshield wipers standard across the board?!?!

 

Tweaking the 3.5 for more power and start-stop feature would be nice. Also 8 speed tranny.

 

The OP only had 1 Post and bailed, maybe went to Post on the Ranger Forum about the 2021 having a Sunroof, Dampened Tailgate, Larger Fuel Tank, Power Sliding Rear Window, and Manual Transmission...
