2021 third GEN, TRD pro engine, shutting down and heavy rain. Giving me a collision, avoidance Fault

in heavy rain the truck shuts down and gives me an collision, avoidance fault checked all the connections, even taped them with electrical tape make sure they were tight and sealed. Also put dielectric grease on all the connections to make sure they were tight. Check the sensor in the grill and make sure it was not cracked or broken. But still getting the shut down wondering if anybody’s had these problems.

 

Ive seen it with the grill radar, you need to know the exact code.

There was a recall for early models radar because of this but all were addressed by 2020.

No warranty left?

 

Shuts down?
Like the engine dies? Or just the cruise turning off?

 

Warranty is likely the solution. If it’s out of warranty after 2 years they will at least know what fixes it. To the stealer with you!
