    When used trucks with 50k miles on it are going for 35k, I wouldnt be surprised if you get close to 38 for it. That being said how bad was the accident? it probably won't be totaled out

    Don't forget that if it's worth more it will be harder to get to the number where the insurance company totals it. Would have to be a helluva rear ender to total that truck.

    I only have 9500 miles on it. Insurance said it’s a possible total loss and they would give me the final decision on Tuesday. It needs a frame swap.

    You’re probably better off not getting it totaled out. The insurance payout will just be market value, which I wouldn’t count on being close to what you would end up paying for a new one to replace it. Better to just get it fixed and file a diminished value claim with the other’s insurance. Hope you had a dashcam or third party witnesses.

    That makes too much sense. Getting an appraisal from TW is more logical.
