I was reading about this this morning before work. I don't think it's a bad deal if you want to lift and keep the factory warranty; if you install it within a year of buying the truck or 12,000 miles if installed later. The article this morning didn't mention a block being used in the rear. I don't understand what the blank fogs cover are for either, but you get the pro grill if that's something you would want.

So they’re capping the fog lights after installing a 2” inch suspension lift but they’re not worrying about the fog lights after installing a 2” level? That’s odd. Does anybody know why that is?

Toyota did no such thing. Maybe the dealership did, but not Toyota.

It says for 2020 and newer? Man this something i would be interested if the installation fee isn't over 1k. Pro grille and garnish and a new sensor? That's already worth the 1K in my opinion. 2inch is pretty much a leveling kit right?

For that you would need to buy the Pro lol. I'm gonna call the stealership. I think its a good deal if you're already getting pro grill garnish and new sensor. I wonder if we're allowed to keep old sensor? I'm mean I don't see why not we paid for it with the truck.

Is that common 2” front 1” rear ? Wouldn’t that make the truck not sit level . Or does the engine level it out with weight .

They're keeping the factory rake by doing this.

Lomax tonneau cover, oem bed lights, AJT Design chrome delete, black out badges & tailgate letters, AVS hood deflector & vent visors, Solkie tech hood supports, interior LED lights, Tufskinz mud guards, RedArc TowPro Liberty, bed mat, kicker speaker upgrade, Hikari ultra H11 low beams, Diode Dynamics SS3 fogs in yellow, Meso customs total taillight stage 1. Coming soon: Compact powered sub install Future mods planned: bigger tires (265/75/16) BILLSTIEN 5100 lift
I think the kit is cool if you want a Toyota product and the dealership to install it Also if you want the pro grille too.
I think that I wouldn't want the pro grille myself. It doesn't say exactly what the struts and shocks are. Are they Bilstien, what grade are they? Why black out the fogs? I have DD ss3 Sport fogs already.

I looked at headstrong Off-road and priced up 2 kits I thought were a better deal than the TRD one especially if you don't want the grille.

    1. Bilstien kit with 5100s, 887 OME coils, strut assembly, and Deaver add a leaf rear, not a block $871.99

    2. Eibach pro kit with struts assembled at notch 1 for 2" lift. Rear Deaver add a leaf, again not a cheap block $809.99

I think these might be better deals but then other advantages of the TRD kit might be that you could buy it with the truck purchase and include it with financing. Then it would also get full warranty coverage too. Depends on what is important to you.

The thing is if you go with those kits you could be impacting the function the camera and collision mitigation systems.

Are you using 5100's in the rear with or without a block? I have stock rear and 5100's up front to level the truck to fit 1+ Tires on Pro wheels. My adaptive cruise control works fine to me, I wasn't even thinking about any negative impacts to other TSS equipment until now
