2021 TRD Off Road w/ LED Lows Only?

Hey Y’all!

I’m new to the Tacoma family, just picked up a 2021 Army Green TRD OR last week.

I’ve been researching light upgrades but noticed that my Tacoma came from the dealer with LED low bulbs already installed. No LED highs or fogs, just lows.

Is this normal for these trucks?

 

It should have low and high beams.. check to see if the high beam bulbs are missing.

 

Nope, only LED low beams. Standard H9 bulb in the high slot.

 

Your dealer slapped some cheap LED bulbs in the standard halogen housing. The OEM LEDs do not use replaceable bulbs like a standard headlight.

 

Replace the bulbs if anything. They should be turning on when you switch on your high beams. I replaced my headlights so I can't post a pic on how they should look

 

These headlights are supposed to come stock with halogen bulbs.

Hopefully the dealer didn't charge you for those led bulbs.

 

are you sure you didn't get led daytime running lights? those don't have full led headlights.
