I just put some new wheels on my truck and have the set of 4 OEM TRD OR wheels I have someone local interested in. The wheels have been sealed up in Plasti-Dip for over 5000 miles of their 7500 mile life. I just peeled half of one of them and what a cool way to preserve them, this Plasti-Dip! They were flawless before I coated them so I cleaned them with alcohol and coated them.

I've seen a myriad of asking prices here. I'm just curious to hear from those that may have sold or perhaps purchased a similar set and what you actually got for them or what you paid OR even the most you would consider paying if in the market

Not looking to gouge for these. Just see what the market actually bears so I can give these up for a reasonable price. I keep considering to keep them for a second set of tires but the reality is, I don't want to store either the wheel nor a complete set of tire & wheel so cutting them loose is probably the smart thing to do.

$50-75ish a wheel seems fair and matches the going price I've seen around me.

They would go for 150-200 up here. You really gotta consider region.

Put them up for what you think, and see how much response you get.

    Hey, thanks for the reply!

That's in line with what I've been thinking. I've seen them locally on craigslist for ridiculous asking prices like $600 just for wheels.

I got $400 for my tires with 1800 miles of use after a week or two on the c-list but kept the wheels for the new tires. My contact at the tire shop said he wants the wheels fir his 3rd Gen Forerunner but neither of us have thrown out a number. Of course, he said he doesn't want to give up any money for them :D and I haven't thrown a figure at him yet but I was thinking hitting him with $300 but would take $250. I feel that's pretty danged fair for a high quality mfg wheel and their condition is pristine since they've been plasti dip coated since about 1500 miles or just before switching tires.

I'll give it a shot and see where it goes. I just didn't want to go to high at first but of course, who wants to leave money on the table? ;) If it doesn't fly, maybe I WILL buy a set of tires for them.

guessing you live some where near me. Sacramento, san fran. $300 seems reasonable. from what i see on craigslist around here.

i think they sell quickly as a pair with tires since people just throw them onto their 2nd gen Tacoma or 4th gen 4runner.

Pismo area, actually. And no tires with these. Just wheels. As I mentioned above, sold those very early after I bought the truck.
